Introducing a trio of 40mm Nautoscaph Dive Watches in colorways ranging from classic to rugged to zesty.
The modern 40mm Nautoscaph embodies the spirit of Alsta's dive watches that were immensely popular in America during the 1960s. Modernized to a slightly larger size, and sporting the ruggedness, quality and waterproofness you'll undoubtedly demand of a modern dive watch, these three new models each sport a supple, era-correct, Tropic-style rubber dive strap.
Beginning with the Bronze Silver, we have a classic radially-brushed dial which features Super-LumiNova green transmission. The solid bronze bezel with a scratch-proof ceramic insert ratchets with precision. With the classic black Tropic-style diving strap and matching bronze pin buckle, the Alsta Nautoscaph Bronze Silver marries rugged dive watch capabilities with a surprisingly elegant – almost formal – visage. We would wear the Bronze Silver with a suit, for sure.
Alsta uses high-grade CuSn8 bronze, which will develop a subtle dark patina with use.
The Alsta Nautoscaph Bronze Black is the sportier of the two bronze offerings. The classic black dial is punctuated with an orange seconds hand, and the bezel uses blacked-out DLC over stainless steel. Super-Luminova with classic green transmission allows Alsta's signature "coffin markers" to pop off this dial with unmatched legibility.
The Nautoscaph All-Red is a stainless steel model with a stainless steel bezel with black ceramic insert. The red dial was inspired by some of Italy's most iconic sports cars, and the sunray engraving shimmers subtly on the wrist. The matching red Tropic-style rubber diving strap is finished with a signed stainless pin buckle, completing the All-Red's bold look.
Alsta's heritage is full of bold colorways, especially from the 1960s, and we felt it was time to honor that tradition in a new way.
